A crochet cactur that you never have to water and it always stays green. Option - planted in a single terracotta pot. Other options? Make more - but about that in one of the next posts.
A crochet cactus that you never have to water, never turns brown, and always stays green?
Yes, please! This little Fairy Castle Cactus is one of my favourite kinds of home decoration that is not season dependent.
Completely handmade, full of character and much easier to look after than a real cactus. And the best part? The patterns is FREE and there is also a YouTube video tutorial, where I explain how to adjust the pattern, so you can make it how you like and want it.
Hint: Just crochet different sizes of the little towers - crochet pipes, sew or glue them together and you are done!
For this project I made the crochet cactus as a small decorative piece that can brighten up a shelf, desk or little corner of your home.
One option is to plant it in a single terracotta pot, which gives it that classic cactus look while making the crochet version feel surprisingly realistic. But I will make several other variants to make a replica of a gift I made few months back.
Happy Crafting,
Alex
